Digitalis purpurea 'Suttons Apricot'

foxglove

Photo of Digitalis purpurea 'Suttons Apricot'

£7.99

A lovely foxglove with pastel apricot flower spikes from June to August. Foxgloves are biennials meaning that it requires two years to complete its life-cycle, germinating and growing in its first year, then producing its flowers in its second year, after which it usually dies. However, as it self-seeds freely you will have a ready supply of new plants every year. New seedlings that appear can be easily moved in their first season, while still small. Caution: Harmful if eaten.
