Achillea millefolium 'Terracotta'

yarrow

Photo of Achillea millefolium 'Terracotta'

£9.00

A stunning achillea with biscuit-orange flowerheads fading to cream as summer progresses. It has narrow, fern-like foliage and the flowers are large and plate-like. This easy-to-grow yarrow is irresistible to butterflies and drought-tolerant once established. Flowers from late spring to first frost. An excellent cut or dried flower.

Care instructions

Achilleas tolerates most soils but does best in a sunny well-drained site. Dislikes heavy water-logged clay soil. Cut down to the ground in late winter, but resist the urge to do this earlier, as the seed heads look lovely in the winter light. Pull out seedlings as they appear, as they rarely match the host plant. Lift and divide large clumps in late autumn or early spring.
