A striking deciduous shrub with slender red stems, turning an even brighter crimson during the winter. Ovate leaves which turn dark in autumn and small cream flowers in May and June followed by bluish-white berries. Caution: Berries may be harmful if eaten.

Care instructions
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. For best stem colour, cut new growth back hard to within 5-7cm from the ground in March.
