A statesque perennial with amazing spherical, bright blue, flowerheads up to 5cm across in July and August. Highly attractive to butterflies, bees and other insects. It is an architectural plant for the back of a summer border but also works well planted in drifts in a wild garden.

Care instructions

Deadhead to prevent self seeding. Cut down to the ground after flowering to encourage a second flush of flowers. Lift and divide congested colonies in autumn or spring.
