A beautiful helenium with a succession of dark copper-red daisy-like flowers with prominent, dark brown centres from June to August. It is hightly attractive to bees and butterflies and also makes an excellent cut flower.

Care instructions

Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Might need to be staked. To encourage the plant to repeat flower deadhead back to side shoots that have flower buds emerging. Spray for mildew during the growing season. Cut down to the ground in late winter.
