A compact evergreen English lavender with aromatic, silver-grey leaves and spikes with fragrant, deep purple-blue flowers in summer. Acts like a magnet to bees and other nectar-loving insects. 'Hidcote' is a compact variety, suitable for growing in borders or as dwarf hedging and is one of the most popular lavenders.

Care instructions

Grow in well-drained soil in full sun If trimmed back after the flowers start to fade, then you may be delighted with a second flowering later in the season. Trim back in October, taking care not to cut into old wood.
