Flowers are borne in loose terminal racemes, red in midsummer, bicolored red and white in July and August, sometimes completely white when the days shorten. Very floriferous in all its colour stages, continuing to the first frost

Care instructions

Grow in any well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade in a sheltered position. This plant is slightly tender, becoming more hardy as it ages. May need support. Remove faded flowers to encourage repeat blooming, or simply cut back hard after flowering is finished. Cut down to the ground in late autumn.
